Water Matters Day

May contain: advertisement, poster, animal, and bird

The Broward Soil & Water Conservation District is proud to participate in Water Matters Day, which returns to Tree Tops Park in Davie for an in-person event on Saturday, March 9, 2024 with interactive educational displays and booths, a tree giveaway for Broward residents, food trucks, children's activities and more. This year, the schedule of events will feature remarks from artist Xavier Cortada, as well as award ceremonies for Broward County's Emerald Awards and the Broward County Public Schools' WMD Student Contests.

Over 50 educational exhibits and booths will be present helping residents and visitors learn about water conservation techniques, smart irrigation, native landscaping, and what role they play in protecting and conserving our water supplies.
